Ebola begins to affect the entertainment of soccer

The African Soccer Cup just may be cancelled this year due to a deadly virus we all know as Ebola. Just in case you don't know what Ebola is, it is a infectious and generally fatal disease that causes internal bleeding and a high fever. It originates in Africa and is planned to stay there so it doesn't spread to other parts of the world. Soccer matches and the quarter finals were supposed to be held  in Guinea. Unfortunately, thousands of people there have died from Ebola. The government, not trying to bring Ebola in the country, have cancelled traveling games to Guinea.

I believe this is not fair. Not having a African cup will cause many problems. Players will not be getting paid for playing and proceeding in the tournament. hey should reschedule games and have them played in other regions. We should still continue for a cure, but as long as Ebola continues to kill and spread it will cause even more problems than just having soccer games being cancelled. Will there be an African soccer cup winner this year? If you had options and choices to deal with these problems, what would you do?

  1. I think each of the players from there should be tested then play the game somewhere away from the Ebola virus. Then they will be able to have the African soccer cup winner. They could also just not hold the soccer tournament in a place other than Guinea. They do have point though they don't want ebola in their country. We don't want Ebola to spread to other parts of the world because or a lot of people will die. I don't think there will be a soccer cup this year.

  2. Well in a sort of response to Cameron's comment i think while it is very unfortunate that no cup will be held even if they do what you said they could do the risks are simply too high. I mean what about people who go to see it they could have and spread it across the giant stadium that they play in which in fact is just killing of many of them quicker than it just spreading from 1 person to another occasionally.
In fact now that it has been confirmed that the virus has gone airborne the risks are now even higher with all the bodily contact that goes on it would be a disaster.
